We went for a trial last Saturday with my daughter and 3yr old son. My daughter has been swimming for yrs and very confident but haven't been able to get my son back into the water for months after a few instructor changes with another swim school, they did nothing and it was quiet distressing each week. We visited Shefford last Saturday and Zac got my son into the water straight away and he loved it. I felt quiet emotional. I've immediately left the old swim school and they both start this Saturday with Zac and Josie, I can't wait. I'm soo pleased now that I've left the old place. "

My son has just had his first 1-1 lesson with Roo who was so lovely and patient with him. My son has always seemed quite anxious about having noodles and floats to help support him and they don't use these at shefford swim school but Roo really helped to make my son feel comfortable without them. He came out and was very happy and excited to tell me how much he enjoyed his swimming lesson and how he can't wait to go back!

My daughter loves the water but is terrified of sinking. This has meant that in past lessons with other swim schools, she hasn't really learnt a thing - she'd be too busy clinging on for dear life to be able to focus. However, already we are seeing remarkable progress at Shefford Swim School, and It's great how comfortable she was with Josie. For the first time, she's opened up and is actively listening to instructions. What's more, she's actually enjoying herself in the water again. Definitely recommend!
